Ok So today was 14th of August. Pakistans independence day. Our country is now 64 years old. BIG BOY I MUST SAY :P Way to go Pakiland. Well to begin with, for me today was just an ordinary day like every other. Their were hardly any functions for this day around town so i just sat home , watched a couple of so called patriotic shows and yeah that was just it. One thing i noticed today was the sheer lack of patriotism, while i went for a drive I hardly saw any Flags, I remember when i was young people used to put those JHANDIAN on the walls and the kids were so enthusiastic to buy those little flag badges and brooches but this time the enthusiasm was not their. Even my younger sisters did not demand any flag etc while last time they were head over heals to buy the biggest possible flag. Back when I was young (well here i sound as old as Pakistan, though im still a teenager ) when i lived in an army area as my dad was in army, we used to march in the whole cantt, singing patriotic songs, my friend holding the flag. Those days were love. the 14th august night used to be epic. All the boys and girls gathered to shoot crackers and the whole area was lit by fairy lights. A full SHUGAL experience to its core. HUH! i miss those days :(

COFFEE TEA AND COMPANY
I being a big food lover, keep on checking different cafes and resturants. Among all those i visited, without a second thought CTC was the best.I left the place with a growling stomach as i had eaten a bit too much.Located in a corner in hussain chowk it grabs the attention at once with a serene outlook. As i walked in I could smell the choclaty aroma which made me all the more hungary. The ambiance was very classy with a very plaeasing anterior. The bakery stuff is in the ground floor while the dine in is at the upper level. I went up the stairs to grab a seat but the place was full.Mostly i could see youngsters and families. My family waited for a couple of minutes and then we finally got our table. The menu had a vast variety. The service was good and the food came early.I had ordered a steak and man it was just finger licking good without a doubt its the best steak in town. The Burgers and sandwiches were scrumptious as well. After that i ordered a choclate lava cake whose taste still tantalizis my taste buds. That was just heavenly.Half way through that i was full as it was a heavy dish. I would give it four stars.
